Bigfoot Group has achieved a significant acceleration, closing the sales campaign for PE 2027 with a 42% increase compared to the previous summer season, surpassing the set targets. The growth of the Romagna-based group was driven by the positive performance of all brands in its portfolio, a solid response from European markets, and rapid international development with a focus on Japan.
A result that consolidates the recently initiated corporate transformation: “Last June, on the occasion of the celebrations for the twentieth anniversary, we announced the birth of a Big Company, a project we had been working on for a long time, with the ambition to interpret and address the market through an advanced business model,” states Giancarlo Tafuro, Marketing Manager and Chief Commercial Officer of Bigfoot Group. “We have built a strategy based on an integrated system, capable of linking product, positioning, and omnichannel, online and offline actions. The results of this campaign represent an initial, important confirmation of the validity of the path taken.”
The cornerstone of the business model is the segmentation of the offer through brands with distinct identities. In this context, the spearhead of seasonal growth is represented by Save My Bag, a brand that entered the group's orbit in October 2025 and is the protagonist of a radical repositioning towards the fpremium axe. In its second sales campaign under the new management, the brand surpassed the threshold of 24,000 pieces sold for PE 2027, marking a 44% jump compared to the first AI 2026 season.
From a retail development point of view, the inauguration of the first Save My Bag store in Tokyo is scheduled for November 15, inside one of the main department stores in the luxury shopping district of Ginza. Developed in tandem with the local partner, the opening constitutes the first step of a broader plan aimed at consolidating in the Japanese market through a coordinated and parallel development between monobrand retail and the wholesale network.
Parallel to physical distribution, the company strategy assigns e-commerce a synergistic role in support of the B2B network, rejecting the logic of price depreciation: “We have chosen to protect the perceived value of our brands, avoiding commercial policies that could compromise their positioning. It is no coincidence that, as always, we do not adhere to promotional initiatives such as Black Friday,” Tafuro explains. “Starting from the SS26 season, we have introduced a different approach to e-commerce: not just a sales channel, but a powerful tool to build networks, generate interest, and fuel product desirability, creating concrete support for the B2B network. The feedback has been positive, and we intend to invest further in this direction.”
The industrial and creative vision of the group is outlined by the family at the helm of the company. Paola and Francesco Amatori, respectively CEO and Head of Design of Bigfoot Group, conclude: “The product is at the center of our vision. We work to interpret the evolution of the market while maintaining a recognizable creative language.” Nazzareno Amatori, President of Bigfoot Group, echoes their words, emphasizing: “These results confirm the solidity of the path taken. We want to continue to grow by enhancing our brands, people, and partnerships, with a long-term vision.”
